Mangapapa icons

This is my tour of the icons of mangapapa school. everywhere from 1970 to 2020, personally these are my favourite places to be at mangapapa.

The hardest thing about creating this was doing the narration because I had to restart multiple times because I kept screwing up. Putting the video onto the slide was also hard because I had to fit it onto the page and I had to keep resetting the page size.

The easiest thing about making this video was putting in the transitions because you had a whole list to choose from although I just wanted to go with something simple. the other easy thing was choosing the images because I knew exactly what I wanted to narrate on and what would be easiest to narrate.

What I want to improve next time is making a better script and to upgrade my words I use, but because I went quite quickly and started narrating. So next time I will use level three maybe even early level four words in my script.

Real or fake?

Today we (myself and classmates) were told to cut out multiple images and create an image to entertain our friends/classmates. 

The image on the left is what I created and honestly I really like it. To me it looks like some hacker dog and most people know this but I'm a techy person.

The hardest thing about creating this was having to go into remove.bg every 2 minutes to try and cut out the perfect shape, after the 7th time I finally got it and I was so excited when I saw it fit.

The easiest thing about making this was finding the images to use for this because I already had this in mind from the first 5 minutes we were told to do this.

What I'll change next time is trying to make things blend in a bit more although this is the best I could do for now.

We also had to figure out if images were fake and the one on the right is one of the images we had to figure out if it was real or fake.

It is quite obvious it is fake due to the fact it has rough edges on the man and on the background.

Mangapapa Mini Gala

This is by far one of the easiest posters I have ever made just because of how easy it is to use Piktochart.

The hardest thing about it was inserting the images. I had to go onto google every minute, find  an image, go onto remove.bg  wait for the download, put it into my files, put it into Piktochart and adjust the size so it fits with all of the other images down the bottom of the screen.

Next time I will improve the amount of detail I put into the writing because I didn't actually insert too much writing, 

Hopefully this will encourage people to use this form of media because Piktochart is the best!

What Is Media?

You know media isn't just social media right? there's much more to it!

Such as billboards, posters and a lot more! it goes from magazines to huge movies and websites around the world.

Hopefully one day you get the chance to make your media known to the public

these are some examples below me! (some of them I've already said lol.)

I didn't really find it too hard to make this poster, it's pretty simple if you ask me. all you need to do is grab some images off of google and label them after different media platforms, all after you've done your title.

My Magic Trick

Hello and welcome to the world of wizardry!

Today I will be showing you a magic trick containing:

I tried really hard not to make myself look suspicious while preforming this magic trick.

Mr. Krabs cybersmart story.

 This is my game that hopefully teaches you a bit more about how to take care of your pet or even other humans. This game took me around an hour to make because I had to go in and out of different

This is my first game but yet my latest posts apart from this and I'm still proud even though it isn't even that good. Ever since I've known how to use scratch I've found it really fun and if you've never used scratch I consider trying it!

This is my second game and Its made from scratch (wink wink) I found it  really easy to make due to Mr. Forie showing us how to do everything and how to code different things like the questioning and how to move your character.

Please don't hate on it I don't mind if there are any comments on how to improve it but please no hate I tried my hardest and honestly I really like it so yeah. :)

My next step for my game is to use keyboard movement so you can use the keyboard to move the sprite. also I want to make it so when you move to a specific area it switches backdrop. Also I will try to add a secret lock combination to another game that leads to a secret. (the code will be in the description of the post.

Daniel's disco commenting algorithm

Today we learned about coding in scratch and fixing a broken game.

The hardest thing about this was figuring out how to transfer code to a new sprite because I had no clue you could copy and paste on scratch

I found it extremely easy to figure out where code goes because I could see the different words to the match the game.

Something I need to improve is the stage and to add more disco vibes because it looks kind of bland.

I also had to code which coordinates the sprite had to go in because it was off target.

My Before And After GIF Challenge.

We were learning about upgrading our work and improving on different things.

I found it easy to change the colour of the text because I didn't have to come up with different colour combinations.

I found it hard to think of things to change about the text because I didn't really know what to do.

I really enjoyed the end product of my change of learning because it looks a lot cooler.

Next time I need to add new things to the middle of my texts to level it up.

Smart Conversations/Relationships

 We were learning about what can be a wonderful conversation/commenting conversation.

I found it easy to find the images on google and put them into the pages.

I found it hard to adjust the text and the image so it aligns perfectly.

I really enjoyed Creating the front title and creating the text for the characters.

Next time I need to align the last few bits of text so it fits into the page.

Good and Bad Comments

 

We were learning about what makes a good comment and what makes a bad comment.

I found it easy to decide which ones were good and which ones were bad.

I found it hard to come up with good reasons for the comments.

I really enjoyed communicating with cody and coming up with ideas

Next time I need to stop chattering with friends and do more work so I can finish.

Commenting Vibes

We were learning about how to make a comic (even though i'm still on my planning)

I found it easy to come up with character names.

I found it hard to come up with some ideas since we had a topic already.

I really enjoyed coming up with lines for the characters.

Next time I need to add a bit more detail into the planning.

My Pepeha

We were learning about Our Pepeha such as our Mountains, River, Marie and our Waka

I found it easy to type up the pepeha because I had my pepeha on a piece of paper next to me.

I found it hard to get my pepeha because my mum had to do some research for me.

I really enjoyed colouring in my pepeha even though I didn't do a background for some of my drawings.

Next time I need to do a background for most of my backgrounds like my lake, marie and mountain

Tik Tok Challenge Rooms 3 & 4

We were learning about teaching people how easy it is to learn a simple dance like this.

I found it easy to do the moved after my group created it. (I was one of the creators of the dance)

I found it hard to come up with moves and to stay in sync with the song.

I really enjoyed teaching the other people the dance because it was kind of easy.

Next time I need to maybe try to stay in sync and put in a bit more effort.

My Copyright Challenge!

We were learning about copyright images and what we like about different things.

I found it easy to find backgrounds for some of my boxes.

I found it hard to find a picture for the family box (second last.)

I really enjoyed playing with the images and finding specific photos.

Next time I need to line up my photos a bit more because some of them seem off line.

I found it easy to come up with ideas.

My Moa

We were learning about extinct animals and how to make them using shapes.

I found it easy to discover things about the Moa and insert it.

I found it hard to getting the shape to look anything like a Moa. (It doesn't)

I really enjoyed making the Moa and using different shapes.

Next time I need to use polyline to add more detail instead of shapes.

My Animal

We were learning about how to take care of our pets and out chromebooks and how they are the same.

I found it easy to make the shapes and putting them in place.

I found it hard to find out how to make the crab.

I really enjoyed playing with the shapes and seeing which ones fit.

Next time I need to improve detail using polyline.
